At the Chilli Doctor, sustainability and responsible sourcing are integral to how we operate. We work closely with our suppliers and independent third party organisations to protect the environment, support ethical practices, and maintain transparent, accountable supply chains.
Our ESG approach is supported by recognised standards and independent assessments across our supply chain.
EcoVadis
The EcoVadis sustainability assessment is a global rating system that evaluates businesses on environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement practices.
Our most recent EcoVadis assessment resulted in a 75/100 score and a silver medal, placing us in the top 9% globally.
Sustainability Reporting
We measure and report our sustainability performance using recognised frameworks, independently verified assessments and meaningful ESG metrics. As our business continues to evolve, we are committed to developing increasingly detailed analysis and reporting to improve transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
Our latest Sustainability Highlights 2025/26 provides an overview of the progress we’ve made across key areas including responsible sourcing, carbon emissions, waste management, renewable energy and employee development. It also outlines our priorities and targets for the years ahead.

Supplier collaboration
Our efforts to protect people & the environment extends beyond just our in-house operations – we work with all of our suppliers to help them improve their own ESG protocols.
Sustainability Scorecard System:
Our tailored sustainability scorecard assesses each of our suppliers’ practices, allowing us to recognise those that are exceedingly committed to environmental care, ethical standards, and quality produce. This insight facilitates active collaboration with our suppliers, and ensures ethics are upheld throughout our supply chain.
Knowledge sharing:
We work with independent organisations supporting sustainable agriculture, and regularly share valuable insights and training materials with our suppliers to create a stronger, more sustainable supply chain.

Zero to Landfill – we maintain zero-to-landfill status, ensuring responsible waste management across all of our operations.
SME Climate Hub – as a proud signatory of the SME Climate Hub, we are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050 in line with government targets.
